arah Elizabeth Kantz and Matthew John Leach were married
recently in Pleasant Ridge. Mayor Ralph Castelli Jr. officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Yvonne Kantz of Ferndale and of
Jack and Julie Kantz of Ferndale. The groom is the son of Wendy
Supowit Leach of Ferndale and Keith Leach, also of Ferndale.
Attendants were sister of the bride Camilla Kantz and brother of the
groom Alex Leach.
Sarah is a student at Oakland Community College and a retail store
manager in Troy. Specialist Matthew Leach proudly serves in the U.S.
Army infantry and as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division,
stationed at Ft. Bragg, N.C. After completion of Matthew's tour of duty
in Iraq, the couple will reside in Ft. Bragg.

onna Sue Katzman and Kenneth B. Whiteman were married
recently at Adat Shalom Synagogue. The bride was escorted
down the aisle by her children, William Daniel Bluford and
Daniellle Cary Bluford.
The best man was Alan Yost and matron of honor was Beverly Yost,
who introduced Kenny to Ronna.
The mother of the bride is Roslyn Katzman of Farmington Hills.
The groom's mother is Fredell Whiteman of West Bloomfield.
Also taking part in the ceremony were the bride's nephew Seth
Samuel of Franklin and the groom's brother David Whiteman of
Lancaster, Calif.
Sadly missed were the couple's late fathers, Bernard Whiteman and
Manny Katzman. Also in their thoughts was the late Lillian
Weinbaum, grandmother of the bride, whose Kiddush cup was used
in the ceremony.
Officiating were Rabbi Daniel Nevins and Cantor Larry Vieder of
Adat Shalom.
The couple reside in West Bloomfield, following a Caribbean cruise.
