Memorial Center holds its annual gala 5:30 p.m.
Sunday, Oct. 23, at Adat Shalom Synagogue in
Farmington Hills.
Weinberg made a personal visit to HMC in
Farmington Hills last year. With assistance of Greece's
alternate minister of culture, Fanny Palli-Petralia, the
Greek government agreed to provide a grant to bring
Weinberg to Michigan as part of her fall tour.
Her one-hour pro-
gram will include the
solemn Mauthausen
Trilogy, based on pris-
oners' experiences.
Weinberg will be
accompanied by 10
musicians assembled

from the Athens
Symphony, the Athens
Opera House, Chamber Orchestra of Athens and State Orchestra
