FOR A GOOD CAUSE

In the wake of Hurricane Katrina,
the Detroit Symphony Orchestra has
formed a partnership with Habitat for
Humanity Detroit. Through early
October, all performances at The Max
will promote and collect funds for
Habitat for Humanity's "Operation
Home Delivery," a long-term rebuild-
ing plan for victims of the hurricane.
The project coincides with two
upcoming performances by New
Orleans natives Harry Connick Jr.
and Branford Marsalis. Previously
scheduled for Sept. 10, the concerts
will now take place Sept. 29.
Tickets for the previously scheduled
performances will be exchanged (cur-
rent ticket holders will be notified).
To purchase tickets, at $35 to $70,
call (313) 576-5111. For more infor-
mation about Habitat for Humanity's
"Operation Home Delivery," visit
