The 3K-5K walkathon is the largest fund-raiser for the Jewish RONIT Home & Aging PINTO Services Auxiliary, Columnist which has more than 1,000 mem- bers, and has served the community's elders for 80 years. This year, JHAS teamed up with Yeshivat Akiva, the Jewish Academy of Metropolitan Detroit and Hillel Day School to help people make pledges. Forty Hillel students participated in the Sept. 18 walk.
