Kicking off the celebrations is "Judaica Toledo, A Centennial Celebration: Traditions and Treasures of the Toledo Jewish Community," an exhibition of Jewish family heirlooms, Jewish themed art and Jewish ritual objects on loan from members of the Toledo Jewish community and its congregations. From a rare first edition printing of the Syzk Haggadah to a mezuzah that was carried on one of the early space shut- tle flights, the exhibition of more than 100 pieces tells the Bob Alper story of the Jewish community of Toledo and Northwest Ohio. The exhibit also features almost 200 photos from the community archives and a complete Jewish wedding exhibit. For more information, call the UJC of Greater Toledo at (419) 885-4461.
