Sinai Hospital Women's Guild and the Women's

Mrs. Hauser, 87, of West Bloomfield, died Sept.

Israel Bonds for her efforts in its campaigns.

Mrs. Hauser's parents, Israel and Fannie
Davidson, actively supported many Jewish and
Zionist causes, even hosting future-Israeli Prime
Minister Golda Meir in their home. The
Davidsons were also involved in the fund-raising

Detroit with Israel Davidson
serving as its first board treasurer
when it opened in the early
1950s.
Mrs. Hauser was involved in
several social service agencies.
She served on the budget com-
mittee of what is now United
Way and led a strong drive to
make sure Girls Clubs were

As a mother of young children,
Mrs. Hauser was a Cub Scout
den mother and a Girl Scout
