grandparents are Roslyn Shipko of
Boca Raton, Fla., and Diana and Alan
Orman of Windsor, Ontario. He is
also the grandson of the late Dr. Leo
Shipko.
Blake is a double honor student at
Hillel Day School of Metropolitan
Detroit in Farmingtion Hills. Among
his mitzvah projects, he participated
in the Dor L'Dor program through
Hillel, helped out at the Fleischman
Residence in West Bloomfield and vis-
ited JARC homes.

Joshua Nathan Pad, son of Karen and
Robert Pad, will celebrate his bar
mitzvah at Temple
Israel Saturday,
Sept. 10. He is the

funds to the Juvenile Diabetes
Research Foundation, volunteering at
Temple Israel's Labor Day picnic and
at the Fleischman Senior Residence in
West Bloomfield.

grandparents are Irene and Nathan
Rosen. He is also the grandson of the
late Ruth and Samuel Scharg. He is
the great-grandchild of the late Betty
and Ken Zimmerman.

Brad is an honor student at Warner
Middle School in Farmington Hills.
As part of his mitzvah projects, he
worked at Yad Ezra in Berkley. He has
a cousin volunteering in the ambu-
lance volunteer program in Israel and
he chose to donate funds to Magen
David Adom for that reason.

grams and participating in projects for
the elderly.

Audrey Sondheimer will be called to
the Torah as a bat mitzvah Saturday,
Sept. 10, at Congregation Beth Ahm.
She is the daughter
of Suzanne and
James Sondheimer
and the sister of
Michael and
Jeffrey. She is the
granddaughter of
Hadasa Goldberg,
Regina and Louis
Sondheimer and
the late Martin
Sondheimer
Goldberg.
