He graduated from Central High School in 1958 and attended Wayne State University, where he was a member of Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity. After college, he became a stockbroker and certified financial planner and was a general partner in the NYSE firm of William C. Roney & Co. until his retirement. A life-long bridge player, he was a member of several bridge clubs in Michigan and Florida and achieved the rank of silver life master. Mr. Schugar is survived by his wife, Judith: sons Kevin (Yvonne) of California and Frank (Carolyn) of Maryland: loving mother-in-law, Maybelle Walsh of Naples; sister, Suzanne Ryan; brother, David; grand- children, Sofia, William, Georgia and Michael of California, Richard and Elizabeth Ann of Maryland.
