CREATIVE INTERNS
Positions are available in a very creative, busy

archiving. Knowledge of Quark and

Looking for talented and creative graphic
designers for contract work. Projects involve
custom publishing design and editorial lay-
outs for the Detroit Jewish News and its other
products including Platinum, JRM Research,
Data and Marketing, and custom publishing.
Has a working knowledge of pre-press
requirements as well as an eye for detail,
quality and ability to meet deadlines.
Working knowledge of all versions Quark,
Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign and

ART DIRECTOR
Editorial Art Director position for a high-end
Metro Detroit lifestyle magazine. This full-time
position is responsible for creating layouts, com-
municating and concepting ideas for layouts and
design to editors, creative director, photogra-
phers and illustrators, as well as marketing mate-
rials. Responsible for retaining photographers
and illustrators and managing within a budget.
Position requires in-depth knowledge of maga-
zine layout. Must be able to paginate. This person
must be detailed-oriented, able to handle multi-
ple projects and thrive in a deadline environ-
ment. Must have excellent communication skills
to share ideas with creative group. Must be an
independent thinker, but able to take direction
and collaborate in a team environment. 5 years
