SARAH SCHIFF, 90, of Bloomfield

Hills, died Aug. 2, 2005. She
worked in the clerical division of an
advertising firm and was a registrar
at Fresh Air Camp. She was also a
member of Hadassah and the
National Council of Jewish Women.
Mrs. Schiff is survived by her
daughters and sons-in-law, Paula and
Stanley Wolfe of Bloomfield Hills,
Ellen Schiff and Casper Lane of
Washington; grand-
children, Dana and
Rick Naimark,

SAM SEYBURN, 88, of Naples,

Fla., formerly of Detroit, died May
2, 2005. For 40 years, he was a
home builder. He was also a mem-
ber of Temple Israel and Knollwood
Country Club.
Mr. Seyburn is survived by his
wife of 58 years, Beth Seyburn; sons
and daughter-in-law, Joel Seyburn of
Florida, David and Robin Seyburn
of New York; daughter and son-in-
law, Annette and Howard Grossman
of New York; grandchildren, Michael
and Eric Grossman, Emily and Leah
Seyburn.
Interment in New York.

ELLIOTT SHEPARD, 79, of

Southfield, died Aug. 6, 2005. He
was a pharmacist and co-owner of
Shepard Drugs, with stores in
Detroit and
Westland. He was
appointed to the
State Board of
Pharmacy by
Governor James
Blanchard from
1982-1986, was
affiliated with and
was one of the
Shepard
founders of Say-
More Drugs. Mr. Shepard was recog-
nized for 25 years of distinguished
service to the pharmacy business and
was chosen by A.H. Robbins as
pharmacist of the year; he was active
in all aspects of the world of phar-
macy.
Mr. Shepard is survived by his
wife, Sally Shepard; sons and daugh-
ters-in-law, Dr. Marc and Debra
Shepard of Maryland, Dr. Alan and
Debbie Shepard of Illinois; daughter
and son-in-law, Lisa and David
Simon of West Bloomfield; grand-
children, Toby and Reid Shepard,"
Jeffrey and Joshua Simon, Matthew
and Rebecca Shepard; brother and
sister-in-law, Samuel and Dorothy
Shepard of West Bloomfield; broth-

LEONARD SHULMAN, 67, of

Flint, died July 24, 2005. He
received a bachelor of business
administration degree in 1960 and a
law degree in 1963 from the
University of Michigan. He was an
attorney in Washington, D.C., with
the Navy Department and the
Justice Department before returning
to his private practice in Flint.
In 1969, he joined the law firm of
Leitson, Dean, Dean, Segar and
Hart where he was a partner for 25
years. In 1994, he moved his prac-
tice to Detroit, where he headed the
litigation department at Keywell and
Rosenfeld. In 1998 he went back to
his solo practice until his retirement
in November of 2004.
Mr. Shulman was a m
_ ember of the
ski patrol for 38 years; he was the
chairman of the board for the local
chapter of the American Red Cross,
