Center in West Bloomfield. Sklar, 28, of Ferndale, takes charge as Nelson retires to pursue personal artistic projects. "My intention is to keep the gallery at the high level of prestige it has attained and help it continue to grow," says Sklar, who has been a curator, instructor, fashion writer and stylist. "The gallery space is very grand and well thought out, and I'm hoping to bring more young viewers in to experience it all."
