DR KENNETH H. SUTHERLAND,

82, of Bloomfield Hills, died July 24,
2005. He was the founder and co-
owner of Universal City Optical in
Warren. He was also a member of
B'nai B'rith Morganthau Lodge,
Jewish War Veterans and the Lions
Club of Warren.
Dr. Sutherland is
survived by his
daughters and sons-
in-law, Dr. Elyse
Sutherland and
David Bassett of
Bloomfield Hills,
Sheri and Dr. Gary
Sinar of
Farmington Hills;
grandchildren, Rachel Bassett, Leah
Pinho, Molly Pinho, Keith Bassett,
C.J. Sinar, Brian Sinar; sister and
brother-in-law, Phylis and David
Madison of Southfield; brother-in-law
and sister-in-law, Dr. Paul and Renee
Schreibman. He was the beloved hus-
band of the late Dolores Sutherland;
loving brother of the late Lillian
Ainbinder; dear brother-in-law of the
late Hy Ainbinder.
Interment at Adat Shalom Memorial
Park. Contributions may be made to
Michigan Parkinson's Foundation or
to Jewish Hospice and Chaplaincy
Network. Arrangements by Ira
Kaufman Chapel.
