Mindy Nigoff, formerly of West Bloomfield and daughter of Su and Jeff Nigoff, received a master's of law and letters in international environmental law from George Washington School of Law in Washington, D.C. She is a grad- uate of Michigan State University and Wayne State University School of Law in Detroit and was awarded a Presidential Management Fellowship. Mitchell Vinkler of Rochester Hills took first places in junior entertainment com- petitions hosted by the Accordion and Teachers Guild in Dallas and at the American Accordionists Association in Dearborn. Michael Strausz, son of Brenda and Richard Strausz of Southfield, received a Fulbright Fellowship to support him for a year's dissertation research in Japan. Strausz is a doctoral student at the University of Washington in Seattle. His field of study in political science is inter- national relations with Japan as a partic- ular focus.
