Poles Visit Synagogue first-time cultural exchange took place June 20 when members of the American Polish Assistance Association in Eastpointe toured Adat Shalom Synagogue. The invitation came from Adat Shalom members Judi and Donald Davis, who also are members of the Polish organization. Rabbi Daniel Nevins conducted the tour, showing visitors an unscrolled Torah as well as the Holocaust Torah in the sanctuary. "We have Jewish members in our organization that often attend our functions," said APAA President Michael Krolewski. "They have been involved in supplying our orphanages with many gifts and have taken part in our dinners.
