YAD Mission Next Week

Representing one of the largest
groups to join the National Young
Professionals Mission to Israel this
summer, the Jewish Federation of
Metropolitan Detroit's Young Adult
Division has recruited 36 members.
They will be part of 300 people on
the 10-day trip, June 27-July 6.
Among the YAD leadership on the
mission are co-chairs Jordan Glass of
West Bloomfield, Nathalie Giske of
Birmingham, Mike and Shira Kahan
of Bloomfield Hills, Jeremy Crane of
Berkley and Eric Goodman of
Birmingham.
The mission is recreational and
intended for young singles and cou-
ples to bond in Israel. The trip also
focuses on Federation-supported
programs and current issues.
Glass said, "There is nothing like
seeing Israel with your own eyes and
making a personal connection — it
enhances your perspective in so
many ways. We're looking forward to
an amazing trip, and a very moving
experience with the group."
