AN AMERICAN LIFE

Michigan Opera Theatre presents the world premiere
of a new musical play 2 p.m. Sunday, June 19, at the
Detroit Opera House. Higginson! An American Life is a
musical based on the life of Civil War-era editor and
Union hero Colonel Thomas Wentworth HiKinson
(1823-1911).

professional theaters in Detroit and throughout
Michigan.

Detroit native, is Higginsonls dramaturg. E.M. Broner,
author of 10 novels and an Off-Broadway play, is the
composer of the musical's libretto and lyrics.
