DR. SAUL M. SHAPIRO, 75, of
Southfield, died may 29, 2005.
He is survived by his beloved wife,
Marylan N. (Vidis) Shapiro; children.

Shapiro; grandchildren, Mollie and lau-
rel, Jacob and Noah Rosenberg, Robbie
and Krista Rigo; sister, Clara Krugel. He
was the grandfather of the late Sammy
Rosenberg; brother-in-law of the late
Jim Krugel.
Services were held in Lincolnwood,

DR. KENNETH L. SHMARAK, 70,
of West Bloomfield, died June 5, 2005.
His undergraduate studies were at
University of Detroit. He received his
doctor of dental services degree from U-
D School of Dentistry; his pedodontic
certificate from Columbia University
School of Dental and Oral Surgery, on a
United Cerebral Palsy Fellowship; and
his master of public health from the
University of Michigan School of Public
Health.
Dr. Shmarak's career included being
dental administrator at Newark Beth ,
Israel Medical Center, director of clinics
at Fairleigh Dickinson University, direc-
tor of clinics at University of Colorado
School of Dentistry. He also served as
dental director of the Wayne County
Health Department, director of regional
operations Midwest for Cigna Dental
Health Inc. and vice president of
Ennikskerry & Spencer.
Dr. Shmarak is survived by his wife of
42 years, Suzanne Shmarak of West
Bloomfield; daughter and son-in-law,
Marci and Joel Ben-Moche of West
Bloomfield; son and daughter-in-law,
Michael and Amy Shmarak of Chicago;
grandchildren, Erin Ben-Moche, Adam
Ben-Moche and Ella Shmarak; brother
and sister-in-law, Arthur and Sandra
Shmarak of Folsom, Calif.
Interment at Beth El Memorial Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be made
