a retired General Motors machine repair
technician. He was also a staff sergeant
in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Mr. Cohen is survived by his son and

DOROTHY PATRICIA. "PAT" FIRE-
MAN, 81, of Auburn Hills, died May
21, 2005. She lived all of her life in the
Detroit area except for the past 25 years
when she spent her winters in Texas.
Mrs. Fireman is survived by her hus-
band, Hyman; daughter, Candace
Martens; son, Robert Holley; stepchil-
dren, Jean, Marvin, Jerry and Rachel;
eight grandchildren; six great-grandchil-
dren.
A memorial will be announced at a
later date.
NORTON FLUSTY, 77, of West
Bloomfield, died May 28, 2005. He
was a pharmacist and owner of Fairway
Drugs in Eastpointe and Sterling Drugs
in Warren. He was also a member of
the Michigan Pharmacy Association.

GERTRUDE "TRUDY" GILMORE,
80, of Farmington Hills, died May 26,
2005. She received her master's degree in
special education and for 30 years
worked for the Royal Oak school dis-
trict. She was also a member of Temple
Beth El.
Mrs. Gilmore is survived by her sons,
Jeffrey Gilmore of Washington, Richard
Gilmore of Farmington Hills; grandchil-
dren, Stacy, Nicole and Melissa Gilmore.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Seymour Gilmore.
