Harvey Cantor and great-grandsons of
the late Lillian (Billie) and Eugene
Walters.
Steven is an honor student at
Orchard Lake Middle School in West
Bloomfield. As part of his mitzvah
projects, he volunteered at Temple
Israel's Labor Day picnic and at
Gleaners Food Bank in Detroit. He
also donated funds to a tsunami fund
to help animals in disasters.
Also attending Orchard Lake
Middle School, where he is an honor
student, Zachary helped pack food for
the homeless at Gleaners and assisted
at Temple Israel's Labor Day picnic.
He chose, because of his love of ani-
mals, to donate funds to help animals
in distress.

Daniel Nathan Robert Dube, son of
Cheryl and Paul
Dube, will read
from the Torah,
Saturday, June 11,
at Temple Israel.
He is the brother
of Lisa and John,
Sara and Paul and
Josh. His grandpar-
ents are Ruth and
Al Katzman. He is
also the grandchild of the late
Fleurette and Nap Dube.
An honor student at University
Liggett School in Grosse Pointe,
Daniel worked at Yad Ezra in Berkley
and donated funds to Temple Israel's
library. In addition, as part of his
mitzvah experience, he bought gifts
for underprivileged children residing
at a home in Detroit.

Benjamin Matthew Eilender, son of
Amy Goldfaden
and Lawrence
Eilender will be
called to the Torah
as a bar mitzvah on
Saturday, June 11,
at Adat Shalom
Synagogue.
Celebrating this
simchah with Ben
will be his proud
brother Daniel, grandmothers Sarah
Goldfaden and Sivia Eilender and his
extended family. Ben is also the
grandson of the late Louis Goldfaden
and the late Marvin Eilender.
Ben is an honor student at Orchard
Lake Middle School in West
Bloomfield. His favorite mitzvah
experiences included playing bingo
with JARC clients and helping build a
sukkah for a Kadima residence.

Blake Andrew Feuerman, son of
Celia and Maury Feuerman, will read
from the Torah as he becomes a bar
mitzvah Friday,
June 10, at Temple
Israel. He is the
brother of Lauren,
Andrea and
Matthew. His
proud grandparents
are Irene and
Donald Lubin and
Thelma Feuerman.
He is also the grandson of the late
Arnold Feuerman.
Blake attends West Hills Middle
School in Bloomfield Hills, where he
is part of a group called Circle of
Friends, helping children with special
needs become mainstreamed in regu-
lar classrooms. He also donated funds
to Paws with a Cause as part of his
mitzvah projects.

Joseph Michael Hornfield and
Zachary Jordan Hornfield will be
honored as b'nai
mitzvah on
Saturday, June 11,
at Congregation
Beth Shalom. They
are the sons of
Thomas Hornfield
and Stephanie and
Edward Eisenberg
and the brothers of
Zachary
Lindsey Hornfield
and Hallie and Jake
Eisenberg. Joe and
Zack are grandsons
of Sharon Kay and
Ronald and
Barbara Kay and
the late Jack and
the late Helen
Hornfield. They
are the great-grand- Joseph
sons of Rita Stern.
Joe and Zack attend Warner Middle
School in Farmington Hills and have
volunteered at the American House
and at Yad Ezra.
