"The South Island of New
Zealand has extraordinary
scenery," she said. "Queenstown is
surrounded by mountains, and vis-
iting the Franz Josef Glacier is like
going back into time."
After exploring the sights in
New Zealand, Hayman Island on
the Great Barrier Reef is the per-
fect place to unwind, according to
Schwartz. Lizard Island, to the
north, a renowned diving spot, is
home to a premier resort with all
the amenities a honeymoon cou-
ple could want. With 24 white
sand beaches to choose from, it's
easy to find your own private
piece of paradise.
"If you're going down under,
just remember that their seasons
are exactly the opposite of ours,"
said Schwartz, "so it's a great fall or
winter destination."
For those who like the
Caribbean without the crowds,
Schwartz suggests the Four
Seasons resort on the island of
Nevis.
"It's very upscale, and the
beaches are beautiful," she said
"Costa Rica is another great hon-
eymoon spot. It has a rain forest
atmosphere and gorgeous beaches.
It's rustic, yet lovely."
