The event will be 5-8 p.m. Sunday, June 5, at Yad Ezra, 8250 W. 11 Mile Road, Berkley. Admission is $8 for adults and $6 for children who bring a canned or dried food donation, or $2 more per person without a donation. The carnival will include a moon walk, dunk tank, duck pond and ring toss, games designed to educate about Yad Ezra, kosher hot dogs, hamburg- ers, popcorn, cookies and soft drinks, and a raffle. Young Married Unit Planned Young adult leaders met with B'nai B'rith Great Lakes Region's President Stephen Zorn,Director Fran White and Program Coordinator Bobbie Levine to discuss starting a B'nai B'rith young married couples unit. Steve Rotenberg, Kevin Elbinger, Teri Steam and Lisa Steam are alumni of BBYO and Hillel. At the region's annual meeting, Rotenberg announced he had 120 cou- ples between ages 30-40 already on his database. He said a first event was on the drawing board for this new unit in formation. The chosen name for the unit is David L. Bittker in memory of the late B'nai B'rith champion. TAD Hosts Music Panel Jewish Federation's Young Adult Division will host "Mic Chec-One Two, One Jew," an evening with former rapper Serch and Eminem's manager Paul Rosenberg. A discussion with the two will be held at Edison's, in the lower level of 220 E. Merrill, Birmingham, 7-9 p.m. Thursday, June 9. The $5 charge will include the first drink. The discussion will be moderated by music journalist Gary Graff of the Oakland Press. Serch is best known for his work as one-half of 3rd Bass. He has two gold albums and a gold single. Nov a DJ for the morning show WJLB-FM98, he owns and operates Serchlite, a record and promotions company. Paul Rosenberg is Eminem's manager and executive producer of the movie 8 Mile. As president of Shady Records, he oversees a roster of artists includ- ing 50 Cent, D12 and Obie Trice. He is working as producer on Get Rich or Die Tyin, 50 Cent's film debut.
