Meals by DAAA are delivered to seniors five days a week through feder- al and state funding but not available weekends and holidays ... This is why the Holiday Meals on Wheels program was created ... Now, when funds per- mit, weekend meals and breakfast boxes are also delivered. Hopefully, the day will come when the Detroit Area Agency on Aging will be able to provide meals seven days a week with regularity.
