He left home at age 13 and was a delivery man for the former Brothers Delicatessen in Detroit and Lansing. After he and his younger broth- er, Larry, moved into the old YMCA in Detroit, Roth c.1956 Gordie then joined the U.S. Navy at age 17. He was a veteran of the Navy and served aboard the U.S.S. Hanson when war was emi- nent between China and Japan in 1957. He is survived by his wife, Marsha; children, David Roth of Las Vegas, Nev., Risa Roth of St. Louis, Mo., and Audrey Roth of Canyon • Country; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lawrence Roth and Christine Roth of Novi, Alan and Alice Roth of Deckerville, Mich., Terry and Carmen Roth of Lancaster,. He belonged to the Detroit builders Association, Probus Club, Temple Emanu-El and Temple Israel as well as the Knollwood Country Club. He was also very active with the consan- guinity Club the FOB Group and several breakfast clubs. Mr. Seyburn is survived by his wife of 58 years, Beth; sons and daughter-in-law, Joel, David and Robin; daughter and son-in-law, Annette and Howard Grossman; grandchildren, Eric and Michael Grossman, Leah and Emily Seyburn.
