She volunteered by singing at Danto and other senior facilities even after her heart attack and stroke. Mrs. Miller also assisted with tax preparation for AARP and assist- ed teaching dance classes and mak- ing costumes for the city of Oak Park. She also wrote poems and made beaded rings.
