Reynolds plays the coach of the
prison's football team.
The late Jewish actor MICHAEL
CONRAD played the coach in the
1974 version. He's best remembered
as the big roll-call sergeant on TV's
Hill Street Blues who said, "Be care-
ful out there."
PETER SEGAL, who directed
two of Sancller's better films, 50
First Dates and Anger Management,
is helming this one, too.
He says: "[Adam and I]
have a lot of similar histo-
ry. We have friends that
worked on Saturday Night
Live, we both come from
comedy backgrounds and

upbringings in New York."

Opening Friday, May 27, is
