Rachel Zuckman of Farmington Hills was select-
ed as the student commencement speaker for the
College of Communication Arts and Sciences at
Michigan State University. She is pursuing a degree
in speech pathology and has been accepted to
Northwestern University and the University of
Pittsburgh for graduate work.

Jonathan Goldberg, an attorney with Bloom,
Bloom & Associates PC in Farmington Hills and a
financial consultant with Bloom Asset Management
Inc., has earned a certificate of completion in the
areas of probate and estate planning from the Institute
of Continuing Legal Education and the Probate and
Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan.

Dan Ehrmann, a senior at West Bloomfield High
School, has been presented with the first Money
Smart Ambassador Scholarship in Michigan. He
received the $10,000 scholarship supported by the
DaimlerChrysler Services, GMAC and Ford Motor
Co. by presenting his essay "How to invest in your

future" to the Detroit branch of the Federal Reserve
Bank of Chicago. He will attend the University of
Michigan in the fall.

He will implement the first Public Management
Summer Institute in Latvia in July.

Aaron Dworkin of Ypsilanti, founder and presi-
dent of the Sphinx Organization, delivered the
2005 commencement address at Bowling Green
State University in Ohio for the College of Musical
Arts and the College of Education and Human
Development. Dworkin, a violinist with a bachelor's
degree and master's degree in performance, founded
the Sphinx Organization to enhance k-12 music
education and to increase the participation of black
and Latino musicians in schools, classical music
audiences and as members of professional music
organizations.

Raymond Rosenfeld, interim department head
and professor of political science at Eastern
Michigan University, has been named a Fulbright
Senior Specialist by the U.S. State Department and
the Council for International Exchange of Scholars.

national board of Volunteers for Israel-USA and
has been appointed the regional officer for the
states of Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Wisconsin.
The organization is associated with Sar-El, which
administers the program in Israel.
