Vivace Virtuosi
Though only 20 years old, violinist Melissa White
has wowed audiences as a soloist with symphony
orchestras from Detroit to Atlanta. Winner of the
Sphinx First Laureate Award in 2001, she is now
studying under Jaime Laredo and Ida Kafavian at
. the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia.
Bulgarian-born pianist Angelina Pashmakova has
performed in Russia, Europe and India and is a
frequent guest artist with local chamber music
and orchestral concerts.
The Birmingham Temple Vivace Concert
Series presents the duo performing works by
Brahms, Chausson, Sarasate and others 8 p.m.
