As friendly as this car looks,
don't be fooled. Serious power lies
under the hood: namely a 16-valve
inline 4-cylinder engine with 168
horses and a supercharged 1.6-liter
overhead cam.
Combined with a 6-speed Getrag
transmission, MacPherson struts and
sport suspension, this Mini is no
slouch on the line, and it corners
like a dream.
With a base price of $24,400, this
car was 529,420 with premium
leather seats, heated seats, chrome
trim, on-board computer, 17-inch
alloy wheels and a Harmon/Kardon
sound system.
Safety features abound, with
driver and front passenger airbags,
thorax head and body side-impact
