Clemens and Detroit, died April 19, 2005, in Las Vegas, Nev. He graduated from Mt. Clemens High School and went to the University of Michigan, where he graduated from medical school in 1941. Soon after his internship and resi- dency, he enlisted in the Army and served as a captain in the Medical Corps in Italy, France and North Africa in World War II. On his return from service in 1946, he set up a pri- vate practice as a general practitioner specializing in obstetrics and gynecolo- gy in Mt. Clemens. In 1959 he moved to New York City and went back to school for four years to become a pathologist. He got his board certification in clinical, anatomical and forensic pathology and, as a professor of pathology, taught at the University of Detroit Dental School. He also worked at the Detroit medical examiner's offices, William Beaumont Hospital in Pontiac and Camarillo State Hospital in Camarillo, Calif. Dr. Juliar is survived by his sons,
