Residents Enjoy Seder

More than 130 residents and staff of
Fox Run, a Novi residence for seniors,
held a kosher-style Passover seder led
by Jewish residents. Residents Helen
Weingarden and Fran Finsilver worked
with the kitchen staff to teach them
how to prepare the traditional fare.
Residents participated by reading
passages and a guest vocalist sang
Hebrew blessings and prayers as well.
An interpreter signed during the pro-
gram for hearing-impaired participants.
The evening concluded with the
communal singing of "God Bless
America" to remind all how blessed
Americans are to have the freedom to
express their individual spiritual beliefs.
