A psychiatrist, Dr. Frumin began as a chemist and then went into the build- ing business. He then went back to school and became a psychiatrist. His interest in health care prompted him to run for U.S. Congress in 1996. He was an avid tennis player and swimmer and member of Town & Country Club in Southfield. He loved to play the piano. With his wife, Estelle, he was an active member of the Friendly Unit.
