To help real estate agents
learn more about the growing
Ann Arbor Jewish communi-
ty, the Jewish Community
Center of Washtenaw County
and the Hebrew Day School
co-hosted a Realtor
Information Brunch on April
1 at the JCC.
Adam Eichner, an active member of
the Jewish community and a real estate
agent with Edward Surovell, chaired the
successful event. Eichner presented
information about the Jewish communi-
ty as did Leslie Bash, JCC executive
director; Dina Shtull-Leber, head of the
Hebrew Day School; Jeff Levin, execu-
tive director of the Jewish Federation of
Washtenaw County; Rabbi Robert
Dobrusin of Beth Israel Congregation;
and Devon Fitzig, director of
Congregational Services at
Temple Beth Emeth.
The goal of the event was to
provide real estate agents with
information to aid clients who
ask about the Jewish commu-
nity. The agents were given
resource packets with informa-
tion from many of Ann Arbor's
Jewish organizations. A tour of
the JCC campus was given.
Robyn Gottlieb and Sarah Kruman,
JCC interns from the Sol Drachler
Program in Jewish Communal
Leadership at the University of
Michigan School of Social Work, staffed
the event. They are gathering resources
and compiling additional up-to-date
information packets to be provided
upon request.
