Sarah Lee Guthrie — daughter of Arlo and
granddaughter of Woody — didn't pick up a guitar
until she was 18. "I knew that as soon as I picked
up a guitar, it was all over," she recently said in a
radio interview. "My first show would be a couple
hundred people there — which was what hap-
pened. But I wasn't ready for that until I was 18."
Guthrie met her husband, singer-songwriter
