sale that supports
education and literacy
projects in Metro

Detroit schools. The
sale will be held May 15-22 at Laurel
Park Place in Livonia.
Now in its third year, Bookstock is
presented by the Friends of Literacy
and continues the tradition of the
Brandeis Used Book Sale. The pre-sale
will take place on Sunday, May 15,
from 8:45-11:45 a.m. Riley will kick
off the Bookstock sale that day with a
ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon.
The sale will continue through
Sunday, May 22, running noon-6
p.m.Sundays and 10 a.m.-9 p.m.
Monday-Saturday. Books will be sold
for half price on Sunday, May 22, the
last day of the sale.
There is a $10 admission charge for
the Bookstock pre-sale only.

Tugman Bais Chabad Torah Center
offers a kashering service.
An expert rabbi will come to your
home and explain the kashering process,
what utensils and appliances can be sal-
vaged and what must be replaced. A
trained kashrut supervisor will then help
you with the actual process.
