HOLIDAY RECIPES FROM MANISCHEWITZ" AND SEASON:

CHICKEN DAYENU

1 package EMPIRE KOSHER 8-piece chicken
2 tablespoons MANISCHEWITZ POULTRY SEA-
SONING
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
Preheat oven to 425°F. Rub chicken pieces on all
sides with poultry seasoning. Place chicken

pieces in roasting pan. Bake 45 minutes or until
chicken is tender. Remove chicken to serving dish.
Stir balsamic vinegar into remaining pan drippings,
loosening any bits from pan. Pour over chicken.
Salt to taste. Garnish with lemon. Makes 4 serv-
ings.

3 cups MANISCHEWITZ MATZO FARFEL
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3 eggs, well beaten
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup sugar
4 large apples, peeled and chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup raisins
1/4 cup melted butter or pareve
margarine

Preheat oven to 350°F. Moisten
Manischewitz Matzo Farfel in a colan-
der under water until just soft. Drain
excess water and set aside. Beat eggs
then add sugar, cinnamon and salt.
Add melted butter or pareve margarine
and continue beating until well blended.
Stir in matzo farfel, walnuts, apples and
raisins. Place mixture in a well-greased
2-quart casserole or pan. Bake in oven
for 45 minutes or until lightly browned.
Serves 6 to 8.

MATZO STUFFING

3/4 cup pareve margarine
1 egg
3/4 cup minced onion
1 tsp. salt
10 Manischewitz Passover Matzos,
finely broken
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 cup Manischewitz Medium dry
Concord Wine*
1 tbs. paprika
1 cup Manischewitz Condensed Clear
Chicken Soup, undiluted*
