partisanship never showed as a judge.
Sandy always was the first to volunteer
when other judges had case overloads.
She was the best colleague any judge
could have.
Chief Probate Judge Eugene Moore
pointed out that Judge Silver "always
cared about the little people as well as
the well-known people. She was highly
intelligent and had a good grasp on
the law. She Worked very well with
families, handling many juvenile and
divorce cases."

Officers Compensation Commission
and as an investigator and member of
a discipline panel for the Attorney
Grievance Commission. She was a

trustee for the North Oakland YMCA,
on the board of directors of Orchards
Children's Services and a member of
the B'nai B'rith Barristers. She was a
longtime member of the Women
Lawyers Association and the National
Association of Women Judges.
While probate judge, she was a
member of the probate and mental
health committees of the Michigan
Probate Judges Association, and was
honored by the Salvation Army and
HAVEN for her dedication to com-
munity service.

Hills; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law,
Geraldine Davis, Marilyn Silver and
Robert Silver.
Interment was at Beth El Memorial
