bar mitzvah as he
reads from the Torah,
Friday, April 1, at
Temple Israel. His
proud grandparents
are Flora Goldfarb,

and Charles B.
Goldfarb and
Geraldine and Louis Hantman.
Attending Orchard Lake Middle
School in West Bloomfield, where he
is an honor student, Harry volun-
teered at the Women's Survival
Center on Adopt-A-Shelter Day and
at both Israel Day and Book Fair at
Temple Israel as part of his mitzvah
projects. In addition he donated to
the Jewish National Fund.

Haley Arianna Jacobs, daughter of
Daniel and Jane Jacobs, will be
called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah
Saturday, April 2, at Adat Shalom
Synagogue. She is the loving grand-
daughter of Bradford
and Jayne Jacobs and
of the late Harry and
the late Shirley Sklar.
Haley is a seventh-
grade honor student
at Walled Lake
Middle School. She
has donated time at
Yad Ezra in Berkley as part of her
mitzvah project. She also helped
with youth group events and collect-
ed for tsunami relief.

Scott Thomas Klein will be called to
the Torah as a bar mitzvah Saturday,
April 2, at Congregation Shaarey
Zedek Southfield. He
is the son of Dr.
Steven and Diane
Klein and the brother
of Leslee. He is the
grandson of Gladys
and Charles Brasch
and the late Louis
Klein; Marilyn and
the late Harold Adams.
Scott is an honor student at
Walled Lake Middle School. His
mitzvah projects included working at
Congregation Shaarey Zedek's day
camp and participating in
Federation's It's A Mitzvah program,
doing yard work at a Kadima home.

Paige Rowin of Huntington Woods
will become a bat mitzvah at Temple
Beth El on Saturday,

Rowin; her grand-
mother, Mrs. Gerald
Rowin; and her lov-
ing and much-loved
aunts, uncles and cousins.

Fleischman Apartments in West

nonperishable food products with
the Boy Scouts/Big Boy Can-Do
Drive and serving Thanksgiving din-
ner at a shelter in Pontiac for the last
several years. His centerpieces and
decorations had a tzedakah theme.
