"He was happiest when staying at, or being at, our house with all of us," said his daughter, Ann Getz Small of Palm Beach, Fla. "That was his very special time." She and her husband, Michael, raised four children — Lisa, Brad, Jodi and J.D. — in an ocean-view home in Palm Beach. Whether going to a restaurant or running errands, Ann and her father had an unshakable bond.
