HAROLD GOLDSTONE, 80 of West Bloomfield, died March 10, 2005. After graduating from photogra- phy schools, including the Fairchild School of Photography in New York City, he became an aerial photogra- pher in the Navy Air Corps. His photographs won many awards, includ- ing first prize on the Princess Cruise Lines contest that received thou- sands of entries Goldstone worldwide. His first trip to Israel in 1966 con- trasted with his second trip in 1968 after the Six Day War. His photo- graphs captured the many changes in the country and especially in Jerusalem. Indeed, his love of Israel was an important part of his life. He founded Sherri's, a successful ladies' retail store. Mr. Goldstone was a member of Congregation Shaarey Zedek.
