Making Connections • Love at first sight has blossomed for 55 years. LEONARD POGER Copy Editor ZVI 011ie Posner and Harold Adler glanced at each other at a wedding reception about 56 years ago but didn't talk to each other — at the time. Then they met again that summer at a South Haven vacation spot through one of Harold's cousins. One of Mollies frie4ds then tried to fix her up with someone Mollie thought would be Harold. Mollie and her "someone else" wound up that night at Adler's cousin's apartment. And Harold stopped by. "That's the one I wanted to date," Mollie recalled. Mollie, then 19, and Harold, then 21, married a year later, on Jan. 22, 1950. Now, 55 years later, they talk about their courtship and offer suggestions to young couples on how to stay together. Like his wife, Harold had no trouble recalling their first contacts. "She looked different from the others at the wedding," he said.
