of their son Jason Michael to Esther
Lee, daughter of Shin Sook Kim, cur-
rently of Pasadena, Calif. Esther is also
the daughter of the late Reverend Yun
Ho Lee.
Jason and Esther both earned their
bachelor degrees from the University
of Michigan. Jason is a fourth-year
medical student at the Wayne State
. School of Medicine. Esther earned a
master's from the Fletcher School of
Law and Diplomacy in Boston.
A May wedding is planned.

Middle School in Farmington Hills. His

mitzvah projects include organizing and
raising money for Bottles for Justin, vol-
unteering at the Jewish Community
Center Special Olympics and volunteer-
ing at the Friendship Circle.

Alana Patrice Rosenblatt, daughter of
Cheryl and Andrew Rosenblatt and sis-
ter of Becca, will celebrate her bat mitz-
vah Saturday, March 19, at Temple
Israel. Her grandparents are Joan and
Martin Rosenblatt. She is also the
grandchild of the late Adele and Alvin
Bronsky.

Rubinstein were recently
married at Moon Palace
Resort in Cancun, Mexico. Michelle is
the daughter of Beverly Mobley of
Farmington Hills and Frank Hurtig of
Dearborn. Jan is the son of Dr. Joan
Shapiro of Farmington Hills and
David Rubinstein of W. Bloomfield.
Michelle's friends Dawn Moran and
Alison Ripper were her maids of
honor. Bridesmaids were Denise
Hurtig, the bride's sister-in-law, and
friends Autumn Queens and Tara
Weiss. Talia and Leah Shapiro, cousins
of the groom, were junior brides-
maids.
The groom's brothers, Evan Shapiro
and Steve Rubinstein, attended jointly
as best men. Groomsmen were Jan's
uncle Peter Shapiro and his friends

anniversary on Dec. 26.
Wishing them many more years of
health and happiness are their chil-
dren Bruce and Kathy Wenokur,

as well as grandchildren Rachel, Sara,
Arielle and Erin Wenokur, and Alex

were honored with a family trip to
