r. and Mrs. Max Gottesman
of West Bloomfield are very
excited to announce the
engagement of their son Lorne to
Andrea Derlicki, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Robert Derlicki of New
Baltimore.
Lorne graduated in 1999 from the
New England College of Optometry
and is in practice with his father.
Andrea graduated from Wayne State
University in Detroit in December
2003 with a degree in education and
is working at her family's business.
An October wedding is planned.

engagement of their daugh-
ter Amy to Keith Slotkin, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Curt Slotkin and
Judith Spitz-Slotkin.
Amy graduated with a bachelor of
science degree from Michigan State
University and received her master's
degree in wildlife biology from the
University of Arizona. She now
owns and operates a bakery in
Berkeley, Calif.
Keith received his bachelor's
degree from the University of
Arizona and is finishing his Ph.D. at
the University of California,
Berkeley in plant biology.
A September wedding is planned.
