mitzvah Friday, March 4, at Temple
Israel. Her proud

She is also the
great-grandchild of the late Esther and
Leo Silver, the late Sylvia and Israel
Tine, the late Florence and Al Charlip
and the late Louis Hechtman.
Amanda attends Orchard Lake
Middle School in West Bloomfield.
She volunteered at the Anti-Cruelty
Society's Pooch Prance in addition to
working with the homeless at Temple
Israel as part of her mitzvah projects.

Lee Feldman (Lev Tov) will celebrate
his bar mitzvah Saturday, March 5, as
he reads from the Torah at
Congregation Shaarey Zedek
Southfield. He is the son of Julie
Feldman and the late Jeff Feldman.
His brothers are Chad, Evan and
Seth. Also partici-
pating in the serv-
ice will be his
proud grandparents
Lois and Cyril
Levenson and his
great-grandfather
Nathan Zumberg.
He is also the
grandson of Robert
Feldman and the
late Jeannette Feldman.
Lee is an honor student at Warner
Middle School in Farmington Hills.
His mitzvah projects include helping
with the American Liver Foundation
dinner fund-raiser, participating in the
Liver Walk, selling bracelets for the
American Liver Foundation and
Jewish Federation. He also volun-
teered at Fleichman Residence and
Southfield-based JARC programs.

Emily Ryann Fishman will be called
to the Torah on the occasion of her
bat mitzvah Saturday, March 5, at
Temple Israel. She is the daughter of
Sharon Fishman and Michael

Emily attends East
Hills Middle
School in
Bloomfield Hills.
As part of her mitzvah projects, she
donated funds to the Israel Guide
Dog Center for the Blind, volunteered
at Temple Israel's media center and
made dolls for children through
Hadassah.

Emily Elizabeth Kahn will be called
to the Torah as a bat mitzvah
Saturday, March 5,
at Adat Shalom
Synagogue. She is
the daughter of
Cindy and Marc
Kahn and the sister
of Jennifer Kahn.
Proud grandparents
are Shirley Obron
and Ruth and Irwin
Kahn. She is also
the granddaughter of the late Henry
Obron.
Emily is a seventh-grade student at
Bloomfield Hillsl Cranbrook
Kingswood Middle School. Her mitz-
vah projects included volunteering at
Yad Ezra in Berkley, working at the
Salvation Army with the homeless and
working at the Lighthouse Path.
Emily plans to donate a portion of
her bat mitzvah money to the Free the
Children (adopt a village) program to
help the children who were affected
by the Tsunami disaster.

March 3, at Yeshiva
