through the Chicago JCC.

ndrea Wolff was camping program direc-
tor for the Apachi Jewish Community
Center, one of seven in the Chicago
region. Michael Goldstein joined the staff as direc-
tor of children's programming in the fall of 2001.
"We both had a little crush on each other,"
Goldstein said. "We socialized immediately," but
the dating came later.
When the relationship became serious, they told
family members and friends but kept it a secret
from their JCC co-workers.
Michael told the office receptionist when she
joked about the couple, but she agreed to keep
their secret from the rest of the staff.
"I trusted her," Michael said, and the trust was
not violated.
They kept their secret for about six months until
they announced their engagement to their JCC co-
