Sarasota, Fla., formerly of Bloomfield
Hills, died Feb. 5, 2005. She was a
member of Hadassah, City of Hope
and Tam O'Shanter Country Club.
Mrs. Stein is survived by her daugh-
ters and sons-in-law Marilyn and
Larry Ledger, Beverly and Dr. Woody
Friedman; grandchildren, Barry
Ledger, Dr. Gregory and Molly
Ledger, Mark Friedman and fiance
Devon Gitre, Daniel and Michelle
Friedman; great-grandchildren, Mari,
Brooks, Alex and Cole Ledger and
Jonah Allan Friedman; sisters, Mary
Grossbart, Shirley Verier and Judy
Sillman. She was the beloved wife of
the late Allan Stein; grandmother of
the late Debbie Ledger; sister of the
late June Cole and Anne Sallen.

BESSIE WEINTROB, 92, of West
Bloomfield, died Feb. 24, 2005.

sister, Lee Rothstein; dedicated, special
and loving caregiver, Lois Burrell. She
was the beloved wife for 55 years of
the late Ben Weintrob; sister of the
late Goldye Kaplan Markow, the late
Harry Brodsky, the late Abe Brodsky,
the late Leo Brodsky, the late Sol
Brodsky and the late Herman Brodsky.
