Julie is the daughter of Roz and
Larry Rogers of West Bloomfield. Jeff
is the son of the late Edith and Larry
Kowalsky.
Julie and Jeff were surrounded by
family under the chuppah. Julie's sister
Shari Rogers was her matron of
honor. Bridesmaids were the groom's
sisters-in-law Ilene Burk and Bonnie
Kowalsky.

Jeff's brother Mark Kowalsky was
his best man. Groomsmen included
brothers Steven Kowalsky and

at Congregation Shaarey
Zedek. Rabbi Joseph Krakoff and
Cantor Chaim Najman officiated. The
bride is the daughter of Toby and
Charlene Hazan of Bloomfield Hills.
The groom is the son of Sumner and
Rochelle Maletz of North Granby,
Conn.
Sarah Hazan Krauss, sister of the
bride, was the matron of honor. Ann
Hazan, sister of the bride, was the
maid of honor. Bridesmaids were
Kimberly Robinson, sister of the
groom; Amy Brode, cousin of the
bride; Mindy Nigoff, Kyle Jones and
Erin Thompson, close friends of the
bride.
Michael Dindgeldein was the best
man. Groomsmen were Matthew
Robinson and Daniel Krauss, broth-
ers-in-law of the groom; Jamie
Menges, Jason Foster, Josh Caley,
Bryan Tolli and Daniel DeChagas,
close friends of the groom. Also par-
ticipating in the ceremony was
Barbara Maletz, grandmother of the
groom. Julia Corey, grandmother of
the bride, and Burdonna Kvitka,
grandmother of the groom, were
unable to attend.
The couple honeymooned in
Quebec City, Quebec, and reside in
New Albany, Ohio.
