a childbirth education class, Lemazel
Tov!, as part of a six-part series open
to the community.
Classes will run from 6:45-9:15
p.m. Feb. 28-April 4 at the syna-
gogue's Applebaum Center for Jewish
Living in West Bloomfield.
The labor and delivery course will
be taught by childbirth educators.
Rabbi Lauren Berkun is facilitator of
the series. There will be medical and
safety lessons, teachings on pregnancy,
baby naming, ritual circumcision, par-
enting and creating a Jewish home.
