Life is full of choices.

For over 4 years, The Heritage has been providing
Exceptional Senior Living in the Detroit Metro area.
The Heritage offers a choice of:

head, to avoid taking the only path
would condemn Israel to continued
terror and the dreadful unanswerable
questions in future generations of
"What if we had?" or "Why didn't
we?" or "What happened?" or "Why
did we not risk it?"
No, Israel must take the road it
faces. Are there risks? Indeed, many.
Who doubts it?
Who would want to make the
necessary decisions? Who can make
whatever the decision with
confidence?
And, finally, the ultimate question;
it involves not just whether peace will
be achieved with the Palestinians, but
— the final but — will the other
Arabs countries join in?
These are troubling, nay, mind-bog-
gling questions with few, if any, defini-
tive answers. Although we may ques-
tion the course being taken, face it
with understandable skepticism, gri-
mace at the dangers and risks, analyze
a myriad of choices endlessly, we need
to pursue hope.
Hope can never be left unattended. ❑

ulate the infidel on his holiday. Never
befriend an infidel unless it is to con-
vert him. Never imitate the infidel.
Never work for an infidel. Do not
wear a graduation gown because this
imitates the infidel."
It's important to note that most
Muslims do not share the xenophobic
Wahhabi dogma. Freedom House
undertook its study in part because
“`many Muslims ... requested our help
in exposing Saudi extremism in the
hope of freeing their communities
from ideological strangulation." Now
that Freedom House has done so, it is
up to moderate American Muslims to
purge their mosques of the Saudi
toxin, and to ostracize the extremists.
And it is up to Washington to end
the pretense of U.S.-Saudi harmony.
President Bush two weeks ago
referred to Saudi Arabia as one of
"our friends" in the Middle East. But
friends don't flood friends' houses of
worship with hateful religious propa-
ganda. We are in a war against radi-
cal Islamist terrorism, and Saudi
Arabia supplies the ideology on
which the terrorists feed. Until that
incitement is stifled, the Saudis are
no friends of ours.
