grandchild of Janice and Gerald
Katz and Estelle and David
Robinson. She is also the grandchild
of the late Edward "Teddy" Cantor.
Her proud great-grandparents are
Adele Fuerst and the late Marty
Fuerst.
Teddi is a student at Cranbrook-
Kingswood Girls Middle School in
Bloomfield Hills. As part of her
mitzvah projects, she chose to vol-
unteer at JARC and the Salvation
Army. She also assisted at Temple
Israel's Labor Day picnic.

Lynn and Donald Apel. He is the
brother of Joshua and Jillian. His
proud grandparents are Beverly and
Fred Apel and Richard Zatkin. He is
also the grandchild of the late
Judith Zatkin and the late Carolyn
Apel. His excited great-grandmother
is Selma Apel.
C.J. attends Hillel Day School of
Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington
Hills. Donating funds to the Heiffer
International Group, an organiza-
tion that provides livestock to peo-
ple to help them become more self
sufficient, and volunteering at
Bookstock Used Book Sale were part
of his mitzvah experience.

Performing Arts Center in
Dearborn. She is the daughter of
Steven and Susan R. Pollack, the sis-
ter of Justin and granddaughter of
Betty Pollack of Warren. She is also
granddaughter of the late Roy
Pollack and the late Annabelle and
Julius Stark of Port Huron.
Jenny will present "Jews, Escape
and Harry Houdini" for her bat
mitzvah project. A seventh-grade
honor student at Norup Middle
School in Oak Park, she volunteered
at Yad Ezra in Berkley and helped
with "Yiddish Yes!" and other
Workmen's Circle celebrations.
