METRO HILLEL T he American Center building in Southfield was transformed into an artists' mecca Saturday night, Jan. 29. The Fanclub Arts Foundation, a non-profit organization striving to promote a vibrant cultural life in metro Detroit, presented the fund-raiser Artrageous 2005. Partygoers began with a strolling din- ner, savoring an array of tastes from 20 metro Detroit restaurants, com- plete with open bars and wine tasting. RONIT Art lovers browsed PINTO works from local Columnist artists and galleries, glimpsing everything from painting and photography to bril- liant accessories. Wayne State University, the International Academy of Design and Technology, the Cranbrook Art Academy and the College of Creative Studies presented a showing of "wear- able art."
